Officers and Staff

A 1986 Graduate of Fort Frye High School and the Washington County Career Center – Machine Trades Program, Jeff began his career with Local 168 in 1989 as a Metal Trades Machinist, working at the Connex Fabrication Facility.  In the fall of 1991, he accepted a position in the Local 168 Apprenticeship Program, graduating as a Building Trades Journeyman in 1996.  During his career with Local 168, Jeff has worked as a welder, pipefitter, plumber, estimator, and project manager.  Jeff has served as an officer of the Local 168 in the capacities of Examining Committee, Executive Board, President, and Business Manager.  He also has served the Local 168 JATC as a Trustee and an Instructor since 2004.  In October 2012, members of Local 168 elected Jeff as Local 168 Business Manager.   Jeff also represents Local 168 on numerous funds and committees in the roles of Committee Member, Trustee, President, and Chairman.  In 2017, he was appointed by newly elected United Association General President, Mark McManus, to serve and continues to serve, as a Trustee on the United Association / Pipe Fabrication Institute Committee. This committee administers all UA National Fabrication and Manufacturing contracts in the United States and Canada.
